Contact us
Email support@matterdevelopment.com and a person will answer, usually within a day. For a book, tell us which month it is; for a problem in the app, your iPhone model and what you were doing. Please don’t send photos unless we ask for them.

Common questions
When do my eight photos arrive?
Every Sunday at 10 AM, unless you choose another time in Settings → Review day and time. A quiet week offers fewer picks, and says so.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Monthly chooses on your iPhone. Only the print files of a book you order are sent to the printer, and they are deleted 30 days after it ships. See the privacy policy.
Monthly hid a photo I wanted.
Nothing is deleted. In the week’s deck, tap Swap, then Show hidden: every screenshot, look-alike and blurry shot Monthly set aside is there, with the reason beside it.
When does my book print?
On the 28th your month’s proof is ready to look through. Change anything you like, or approve it. If you do nothing, it prints on the 3rd and ships to your address in the United States.
Can I skip a month?
Yes. Open the month’s proof and tap Skip this month before it prints. Nothing prints and that month’s share of your subscription goes back to your card. Changed your mind? Tap Print it after all.
Where is my book?
Settings → Orders shows each book’s step, from proof to delivered, and the tracking link once it has shipped.
My book arrived damaged or misprinted.
Sorry about that. Within 30 days of it shipping, open Settings → Orders and tap Damaged or misprinted? under that book. We send a new copy to your address, free.
Can grandparents get a copy?
Yes. When you approve a book, add a copy to another US address. To send one every month, turn on Send them a copy every month with their address. Each copy is charged when the book prints.
Can both parents add photos to the same book?
Yes. In Settings → Family, tap Invite the other parent and send them the code. They tap Join with a code on their iPhone, and from then on their keeps go into your book.
A page says “Low resolution”.
That photo is small for a full page and may print slightly soft. Swap it in the proof with Edit, or leave it if you love it.
Can I keep a month without printing it?
Yes, free: open the month on the Shelf and tap Export album (PDF).
How do I change my plan or cancel?
Settings → Manage subscription opens Stripe’s page, where you can switch plans, update your card or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; a book you have already paid for still prints.
Do you ship outside the United States? Is there an Android app?
Not yet. Books ship to US addresses only, and Monthly is for iPhone.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account cancels your subscription, deletes your books and addresses from our servers and empties Monthly on your iPhone. Your photo library is not touched.
